Eren Yeager vs Kamen Rider Blade by vh1660924
Void: All right, the combatants are set, let’s end this debate once and for all.

Temporal: It’s time for a DEATH BATTLE!!

Wall Maria, Daytime

A young man was driving his motorcycle to the outer wall of humanity’s kingdom. His name is Kazuma Kenzaki. He was wearing a biker helmet, for safety obviously, and a pair of gloves to tighten his grip to the bike handles. After leaving his friends in order to leave the Battle Royale at a stalemate so his friend Hajime Aikawa aka the Black Joker can live in peace, Kenzaki wandered across the world aimlessly to get as far away from Hajime as possible.

‘Everyone,’
he thought to himself. ‘I’m sorry I have to leave, but…this is the only way to prevent mankind from ever going into extinction.’

After going through the desert, he somehow made his way here, in the wilderness and then encountering what may be a city where people live in. What intrigued him the most, however, is the site of a large hole in the walls. Curious, Kenzaki cranks up the gears and drives to where the hole is. After getting through it, Kazuma was absolutely horrified by what he saw.

Everywhere he looked, it was nothing but destroyed apartment and buildings, the debris of which looks like it had flown everywhere. The blood of countless people stain both the ground and the air in foul stench and crimson fluid. Taking off his helmet, thus revealing he has brown hair, Kenzaki looks around his environment and looked around for any signs of life. He found none. Everyone was dead.

“OI! ANYONE!!” Kenzaki shouted, as a desperate attempt to bring out any survivors. How did this kind of mess happen?! It looked a tornado hit this place, or worse, an earthquake. Suddenly, Kenzaki hears the sound of heavy footsteps behind him. “Huh?” he turns around and gasped by what he saw. It was a 10-meter tall humanoid, butt-naked, with a horrifying smile barely covered by rags of blonde hair. The limbs are sickeningly lithe, almost too small in proportion for its body. “What in hell!?” Kenzaki pulled out his Blay Buckle in an attempt to defend himself, the moment he did the giant walked forward and reached his hand out at him.

Somewhere, on the top of the 50-meter tall walls, a boy wearing what looks to be a military uniform standing with a pair of swords in hand. The boy jumps over the wall, and with a pull of a trigger, a pair of grappling hooks fired outward and burrowed into the ground near Kenzaki and the giant being. Getting pulled at amazing speed, Eren reeled in both his swords and made for a mighty hack at the Titan. With a battlecry of fury, Eren made a large gash against the Titan’s neck, killing it instantly.

The Titan falls over on the ground, dead, while Eren lands safely on the ground. After looking at the fallen giant for a second they both then glanced at each other. Kenzaki was at first confused by the new individuals, but he was more overjoyed with seeing a live human. “Gee, thanks, what’s your na-?” he extends a hand out at Eren as a sign of gratitude, but Grisha’s son would have nothing of it.

Stay back!”

He extends a sword furiously at the older man, Kenzaki narrowly avoided having his hand cut off by pulling it back quickly. Eren was breathing heavily, he was not happy with some unknown foreigner entering his home, still being spiteful of Annie, Reiner, and Bertolt’s betrayals’ and turning out to be Titans. He doesn’t want to take his chances with this joker (haha). Kenzaki hid his Blay Buckle behind his back, somehow concealing it completely, then holds his arms in protest. “Oi! Hold on a second, what did I do get you so mad?”

Eren responded in the first way he can think of…he kicked Kenzaki in the torso and sent him flying across the ground. Grabbing his stomach in pain, Kenzaki gets back up, his Undead instincts finally convincing him to fight this irritating shit. “So, that’s how it’s gonna be?” He gets up, holding his fists up and getting into a fighting stance. Accepting the challenge, Eren sheathes his blades and holds his fists up as well, his eyes resemble that of a bloodthirsty animal meeting his rival clan. “I’m gonna make you, and your kind, PAY FOR WHAT YOU’VE DONE!!”

FIGHT!

With a yell, both Eren and Kenzaki ran toward each other, fists reeling in for a punch. At arms length, they simultaneously hit each other. Kenzaki did an overhead punch that nailed Eren in the face, while Eren did an uppercut to Kenzaki’s chin. Refusing to back down, Eren tries to punch his opponent’s stomach with his other hand, but Kenzaki blocks it. Swinging him around to disorient him, Kenzaki kicks Eren in the back and makes for a punch to the cheek. Eren shrugs it off, and kicks Kenzaki in the shin. His opponent flinching, Eren grabs his neck and knee Kenzaki in the chest, and finished with a surplex you'd normally see in a wrestling match.

For Kenzaki, now is a time for him to transform. Eren takes out his swords and dashes toward his downed opponent. In a blink of an eye, Kenzaki puts on his belt and pulls a switch, flipping the front to reveal a golden spade symbol. “HENSHIN!”

TURN UP!

A blue screen appears from the belt and warded off a charging Eren, sending the boy flying. The screen quickly encompasses Kenzaki's whole body. He gets covered in a blue bodysuit covered in gray torso armor, gauntlets, and shin-guards. By his side, a sword with a silver Spade symbol on it, his helmet has red eyes that resembles an insect’s eye, except without pupils. Eren gets back up and see his opponent’s new form. His eyes widen in shock.

“W-what in the world?”

Kenzaki takes out his sword and runs towards Eren. Eren puts up his two swords to block an incoming strike, only for him to get pushed by the force of his opponent’s attack. “What the fuck are you?!” he questioned his opponent harshly. Kenzaki just casually responds, “Kazuma Kenzaki. I am a Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Blade!” He throws a downward slash that shatters both of Eren’s swords. The boy looks in horror of his destroyed weapons. “Surrender!” Blade says, “You are outmatched!” But the Suicidal Bastard refuses to listen, instead he replaces his blades with fresh new swords from his sheaths.

Knowing he cannot beat him in a straight fight, Eren uses his 3D Gear and flies away to a building, trying to build distance between him and Blade. Blade follows him by hopping on top of the buildings. Despite having the head-start, Eren can just barely outrun Blade, the bastard can not only jump far, but also run extremely fast compared to Eren, or even run as fast as a horse, the moment he gets on the roofs. Aiming to shake him off his tail, Eren does a series of high-speed movements where he constantly hides behind the buildings while swinging around to find an opening to strike.

Unable to catch up to his opponent, Blade had lost sight of the boy, looking around to where he may have gone. While he’s just standing, Eren makes it around him aims towards his back. Propelling himself at maximum speed, Eren uses his rage to give out the mightiest slash he can against Blade. The edges strikes Blade’s back and make a notable gash on his back armor. Blade screams in pain and almost falls over from the force, Eren grinned at this. His grin vanished however, when Blade did a fast side-kick that sent Eren flying off the building they were on.

Just before the Coordinate can get back up, Blade threw his Blay Rouzer like a dart at Eren’s leg, impaling it. Eren screams in pain and fury, attempting to pry the weapon out of his thigh. Blade leaps next to him, pulls the sword out (splattering blood everywhere on the ground), and points it at Eren. No different to how the boy threatened him earlier. Eren can only glare in fury as his opponent held in death’s reach. “Like I said,” Blade taunted, “you are outmatched. Give up now! And tell me what’s going on!”

Eren was clenching his teeth so hard, they look like they are on the brink of breaking. With a nasty tone, Eren responded to Blade, “Like hell I need to tell you…!”

(stop music)

Blade looks at his opponent sympathetically, he hates hurting others after all, friend or foe, and sees the wound he inflicted on the poor kid. To his surprise, it looks like it’s already on the verge of healing, the hole is noticeably smaller than before. Confused, Blade looks back to Eren, who continues ranting. “Do you have any idea how many innocents have died because of you shits? Do have any idea what I’ve lost?!” The image of innocent people, and especially his precious mother Carla Yeager, races through his mind in a flash. Tears flow out of Eren’s eyes at the memory. “I lost my parents because of you savages!!!” He smashes his fist on the ground.

Underneath his helmet, Kenzaki’s eyes widen and he gently puts his weapon away. Hearing his backstory reminded Blade of his own horrible childhood, he too lost his parents, but due to a fire accident. From what Eren is saying, it sounds as though his parents were murdered before his eyes. Kazuma knows how that is like, so he tries to comfort the boy. He squats down, closing the distance between them, “Actually, I do know what it’s like…to lose your parents.” He hoped they can put aside this fruitless battle.

Eren isn’t convinced, “Bullshit…!” Flashes of the Female, Armored, and Colossal Titans race through his memories, fueling his anger even more. “I won’t listen to anymore of your lies!” He bites his own hand, blood spraying out of the wound. Blade winced upon seeing this, and pulled Eren’s hand away from his teeth. “Hey, you’re injuring yourself!”

Suddenly, a flash of light happened and Blade puts his hand over his eyes, trying to keep himself from going blind. He backs away quickly, and when the flash of light faded, a giant being emerged in Eren’s place. Unlike the Titan Kenzaki encountered earlier, this one is 15 meters tall, and had a properly proportioned body with a lean yet muscular build. Its face is made of a cheekless jaw with a crooked structure, it’s face resembles Eren’s, only more feral, even having his jet-black hair. Eren’s new form roars in fury to the sky.

The Rogue Titan has appeared.

Blade looks in horror of the new entity and quickly pulls out his sword. The Rogue Titan slams its fist down on Blade, to which the Kamen Rider just barely manages to dodge by jumping into the air. Big mistake though, as Eren uses his other hand and grabs Blade. Blade struggles in the Titan’s grip, before Eren throws him into a nearby building. Blade gets smashed into the building, causing it to collapse on top of the Rider, crushing him. Eren walks to the buildings and sees no movement. Celebrating his apparent victory, the Titan-Shifter gives a roar of victory, shouting to the heavens themselves.

Inside his Titan body, Eren thought to himself, ‘Now that one more bastard is down, I can focus on the rest. Reiner, Bertolt, I will never forgive you!’ he clenches human hand hard, and his Titan hand does the same. Underneath the rubble, a male voice is heard, “ABSORB QUEEN!” Eren leaves his power fantasy and looks on in confusion.

FUSION JACK!

Bursting out of the rubble, a ball of golden light, leaving light feathers behind, appears and towers over Eren. The Rogue Titan looks on in curiosity at the weird object, waiting to see what happens. A pair of eagle wings briefly flap open, revealing Kamen Rider Blade in a new form. Six extra armor pieces are now attached to his back, resembling and behaving like wings. Parts of his armor, especially the torso and helmet, are now golden in color. His Blay Rouzer also becomes slightly longer and more golden in color.

Angered at his opponent not being dead, Eren gives out a cry of pure rage. Blade pulls out his Rouze Cards and picks out one that had a lizard on it. He brings it down on the card reader of his Blay Rouzer, where it announces “SLASH”. A blue energy aura appears over Blade’s weapon. With his weapon ready, Blade flies at the Rogue Titan. Eren throws a punch at Blade, attempting to knock him out of the sky, but Blade dodges the blow and swipes at Eren’s ribs. The pain only makes Eren even angrier. He quickly turns around and swings his arm at Blade, to which the latter also dodges in mid-air.

Flying in an arc, Blade makes it back to Eren for another strike. This time, Eren puts his arms out to defend himself, using Hardening to strengthen his forearms. Blade thrusts his sword at Eren, and the tip simply poked the Titan’s arms without leaving a dent. Changing his strategy, Blade lowers himself closer to the earth, and goes to slashing Eren’s legs. The strikes leave notable slash marks on the Titan-Shifter, causing blood and steam to come out of the wounds. Eren leaps away from the assault, and his legs immediately start to heal.

Briefly cooking up a plan, Eren leaps forward onto Blade and thrusted his hand at him. Blade dodges the blow and is now at Eren's side. His emerald eyes glowing with satisfaction, Eren digs his fingers into the ground and tosses them onto Blade. The debris hit Blade, and knocked the Rider down into the ground. Taking this opportunity, Eren uses his hardening ability to create hardened "brass knuckles" over his fists and bring them down on a downed Blade.

Blade sees the fist coming at him, so he hurriedly pulled out another Rouze Card.

"METAL"

Blade's body becomes chrome metal, and he was forced to meet with the fist of an angry titan. Eren's punch hit Blade so hard, it made a crater several times larger than Blade himself! Not satisfied, Eren roared and unleashed a barrage of rage-fueled punches that all connect with Blade. For every hit, the crater just gets deeper and wider. Luckily for the spade swordsman, Metal Trilobite helps him absorb the damage, albeit only somewhat. After Eren is done pummeling Blade, the result of which left cracks on the Kamen Rider's armor, he roars and puts his two fists together.

Blade uses his remaining strength to pull out another Rouze Card. Eren's fists swung down on the Rider like a sledgehammer.

"TIME"

In a blink of an eye, Blade disappeared from sight, Eren's fist instead hit the ground where he was originally. Confused, the Titan-Shifter looks around and tries to find his smaller opponent.

"LIGHTNING SLASH"

Blade reappears next to Eren's arm and, using the power of the Slash Lizard and Thunder Deer Rouze Cards, cuts it off by the elbow. Eren lets out a cry of pain as his severed arm rapidly disintegrates on the ground. Blade then flies to the top of a tall building, in order to rest for a bit. Enraged by the loss of his arm, Eren gives out a cry of fury, one that echoes all throughout the walls. Suddenly, a whole army of Titans appear around the combatants and swarm all over Blade, each one bearing the same angry expression that resembles the one Eren had, thanks to the latter's Coordinate ability. Blade flies away when he sees two 3-meter class Titans trying to attack him from behind. Another 10-meter Titan leaps up and tries to grab Blade, the latter dodges but is hit by a large boulder thrown by another Titan.

Blade plummets to the ground, having taking too much damage from the previous assault, his Rider form gives out and he returns to his human form. Taking advantage of this moment of vulnerability, the Titans all gathered up and tried to eat him or crush him. Kenzaki can feel his arms and legs almost getting pulled out of their sockets by the smaller Titans, while the bigger ones push one another for a chance to eat the small prey. Kenzaki cries out, it all seems hopeless, but then a green light sheds from him...

Eren looks on to the horde of Titans that are dog piling Kenzaki. With a sigh of relief, he gets back up, and calls it a days off. Then suddenly, a green energy starts seeping out of the pile of Titans. To the young Titan hunter's surprise, the energy wave expanded into an explosion, killing all of the Titans Eren was controlling. Eren's Titan form actually needed to brace itself to hold off the shockwaves caused by the blast. His eyes widen upon seeing the source of the strange energy: At ground-zero of the blast, a black and green creature stands there, well over 2 meters tall, and having a skeletal jaw for a mouth. His face appears to be covered in a green visor, but underneath you can clearly see what appears to be black sockets where his eyes should be.

To Eren, it may look like a strange entity, but to those familiar to the myth of the Battle Royale, it is a scourge of this planet. This is non other than the Joker Undead, a being that personifies death to all life. The Undead looks at itself for a second before clenching its fists, and then lets a mighty roar that announces everyone present of his arrival.

Putting two and two together, Eren realized that this thing is in fact Blade in yet another form. 'Why won't that bastard just die!' he mentally asked himself furiously. His rage at its peak, Eren's body begun to undergo a metamorphosis, his green eyes change to glowing blue, and veiny glow markings appear all over his body. The Rogue Titan screeches an unearthly roar, as a sign he has unleashed his full power.

Kenzaki, still in his Joker Undead form, grabs his Blay Buckler and puts it back on his waist. At that moment, Eren runs at full speed toward the Rider, intending to trample him under his feet. Kenzaki sees this coming and dodge-rolls out of the way. Immediately, he activates his Blay Buckler, and a gold screen, instead of blue, appears and envelops his body.

"TURN UP!"

Kenzaki is now Blade again, only this time, his form is drastically different. He now has a mostly golden armor, resembling a cross between a king and a knight, over a darker version of Ace and Jack form's bodysuit. This is Blade's King Form. Grasped in his right hand, he wields the King Rouzer instead of the Blay Rouzer.

Realizing that he had missed his intended target, Eren immediately turns around and runs back to Blade. His giant hands claw against the ground for better control of his direction and speed. Without moving from where he is, Blade pulls out the same Rouze Card he used to save himself, called Time Scarab, and inserts it into the King Rouzer.

"TIME"

All form of sound and movement, even from debris, has been suspended, only Blade capable of moving, showing that time has stopped. Blade looks at Eren, somewhat shocked to see how close the Titan came to grabbing him with his remaining hand. Blade draws green energy into his sword, and with one mighty slash, it fires out an energy blade that cuts through the knee of the massive Titan. Drawing more power into his weapon, Blade fires three more energy blades that slice off the remaining limbs of the Rogue Titan.

Time resumes, and Eren falls over to the ground, his limbs fell off because of his momentum. The human-turned-titan flails about, unable to pick himself up and finish the job. With the power of King Form, Blade summons 5 Rouze Cards from his armor and places them in the King Rouzer.

"SPADE 10, JACK, QUEEN, KING, ACE! ROYAL STRAIGHT FLUSH!"

Five cards appear in front of Blade, signifying the use of his finishing move. Before Blade can destroy his opponent, Kenzaki takes one last look at the Rogue Titan. Its eyes still contain burning rage, and it bellows out its utter hatred at him. Blade looks sympathetically at the monster, before saying out loud, "I'm sorry." Blade swings his blade (no pun intended) at the Spade 10 hologram, and a giant, golden laser beam shoots out and hits the Rogue Titan.

His rage unable to accept death, Eren lets out one final roar of defiance before his entire body, human and Titan, are incinerated, leaving behind nothing but ash. Exhausted from the fight, Blade drops to his knees, keeping himself from falling over completely by balancing on his sword. While he is glad the fight is over, he's not okay with murdering another human being. Looking at his weapon in disdain, Blade angrily threw it aside and pounds his fists onto the ground. He continues punching repeatedly until he makes a small crater on the ground, while the ashes of Eren fly along the winds.

KO!

Winner's screen: Kenzaki gets on his bike and drives away somewhere.
Loser's screen: Eren's remains are examined by a crow.

Temporal: Hey, look at the computer! It's a nyan-cat, it's a troll-face, it's the rage of the Attack on Titan fanboys!

Void: Now, hear us out, Eren is a powerful fighter, and he can become even better in the future, it's just right now Blade has him outclassed.

Temporal: The first question we asked ourselves is who would win based on experience alone. We give Eren credit for beating up bullies and grown-ups ever since he's a kid, plus roughly two years of experience of fighting Titans. However, Kenzaki on the other hand had undergone countless battles and wars during the 300 years he spent trying to prolong the Battle Royale, as told by the official novel. As such, his combat experience exceeded Eren's.

Void: Also, be careful not to over exaggerate Eren's cannonball feat. While it may sound impressive, he didn't actually do much while reacting to it. As you can see here, he just looks at it and bites his own hand, which was already in his mouth, the moment that the cannon fired, allowing his Titan body to take the blow for him. In other words, it's not really anything that much more impressive than his usual feats. Blade on the other hand, had at least two instances where he has fought against or alongside beings capable of flying into outer space. In order to be fast enough to fly into space, one has to travel at escape velocity, in Earth's case Mach 32.913. That's over 23 times more impressive than the cannonball feat Eren did, the Titan-shifter's otherwise greatest speed related feat.

Temporal: Jack Form Blade is also this fast, by virtue of keeping up with Rocket States Fourze, who can fly into orbit in just a four seconds. Even assuming Gentaro only flown up to the lower orbit, he'll have to fly at 40 kilometers per second, which is 108 times faster than a bullet fired from a gun. Outlier? Well, tell that to the time where Blade can react to Jashin-14, who also has flown into outer space at some point.

Void: Eren's best and only way to win would be using his Titan form, but like everything in his arsenal, it'll eventually run out of juice. But Eren's human form is so horribly outmatched by any form of Blade, that he'll have to use it early in the fight, where it will lead to his energy running low near the end of the battle. Plus, Eren's reinforced steel swords wouldn't be that effective against Blade, since Blade has endured and shrugged off sword attacks before countless times, coming from enemies ranging from being strong enough to push back a car, to flat out lifting them. Blade's Rouze Cards also are a key factor, since they'll enable him to change his strategy much more efficiently than Eren can. Time Scarab in particular can halt time itself, without any defined duration. Upon using it, Kenzaki will have a free shot at Eren while at the same time planning his next attack, whereas Eren would remain clueless to what's going on.

Temporal: Plus, it turns out that Kenzaki can use his Rider and Undead powers at the same time in battle, giving him a huge power bonus. Also, yes, the Joker Undead can channel energy into its weapons. It’s how Hajime was able to stalemate with Blade’s Royal Straight Flush in the first place.

Void: Speaking of the Royal Straight Flush, recall the time we mentioned it destroying Jashin-14. The monster’s official weight is 204 tons, assuming it to have the same density as a human being, then its volume has to be at least 185 cubic meters. Destroying a living creature this size would require energy equal to at least 376.38 tons of TNT! For comparison, the video below show how much 100 tons of TNT can do. (mute the video, don't stop the ending music)

Void: So just imagine the effects of something over 3 and a half times that powerful, concentrated into the edge of a blade. Said blade being so sharp, even when wielded by ordinary humans, can effortlessly carve through the bodies of bulletproof monsters.

Temporal: Eren may have the edge in formal combat training, but against an opponent who is more experienced than you, faster than you, more versatile than you, and holds more destructive power than you, it's not gonna do much for you. And while Eren can regenerate wounds pretty quickly, it usually takes about an hour or two for entire limbs to grow back. Kenzaki has played the right Cards Against Titan.

Void: The winner is Kamen Rider Blade.

Next time on Death Battle

Well that's taken care of. How'd you like it? Don't forget to comment and fave, thank you all. I made this Death Battle as best as I could.

Note: I accept Eren's cannonball feat to be legitimate and canon, but that still wouldn't change the matchup so far.

Awesome battle! By the way since Attack on Titan ended recently would you have Eren come back?
